Commitment to Accessibility
PFG Financial is committed to making our website accessible to all people, regardless of ability. We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.
How We Built for Accessibility
This website is built with semantic HTML to give structure and meaning to content. All interactive elements, including navigation menus and accordions, are keyboard-navigable and fully operable with screen readers. All form inputs are properly labeled. Animations respect the operating system's prefers-reduced-motion setting, so users who request reduced motion in their accessibility settings will see a static experience without animations or parallax effects.
Visual Focus Indicators
Visible focus indicators are present on all interactive elements so keyboard users can see where they are on the page at all times.
Known Issue: Button Contrast
Our primary call-to-action buttons use white text on an orange background. This combination does not meet the WCAG 2.1 AA color contrast standard (it passes WCAG 2.1 Level A). We chose this contrast ratio to maintain brand visual identity, and we are actively reviewing alternatives before launch.
Image and Icon Accessibility
Meaningful images have descriptive alt text. Decorative images are properly marked as such so screen readers skip them.
Content Structure
Headings are structured hierarchically. Lists are semantically correct. Color is not used as the only way to convey information.
Responsive Design
The site is fully responsive and works across all device sizes and orientations. Text can be resized up to 200 percent without loss of functionality.
